The good news, as we promised in the last report, is that we have sent the first package with Amazon Wishlist in-kind donations to Ukraine. The package was sent to our Kyiv office, where our team will distribute and deliver the items to the first responders.

The unfortunate news regarding the in-kind donations

Unfortunately, all 13 tourniquets we received in May and June turned out to be counterfeit. Despite specifying the original NAR tourniquets in our wishlist, we received products from China instead of the intended US-made ones. We promptly reached out to Amazon support for assistance, but so far, we have been unsuccessful in resolving the issue. While we were able to return three of the tourniquets, the remaining items have yet to be resolved.

The list updates

Due to our unfortunate experience with the counterfeit tourniquets, we have removed them from our wishlist. Additionally, we have made updates to our wishlist by including water filters, as they are in high demand in the flooded areas.

We have also reintroduced certain technologies such as power banks. Looking ahead, we may consider adding items like tablets, memory cards, and drones, as technology plays a crucial role in saving lives on the front lines, which is one of our primary focuses.

Stay tuned for upcoming reports and support Ukraine by donating through the Dignitas Ukraine wishlist.
