CYM Unites Young Ukrainians Worldwide
The Ukrainian Youth Association (CYM) is a global organization that brings young Ukrainians together through sports, arts, cultural events, and camps. With branches in Europe, North and South America, and Australia, CYM is inspiring the next generation to grow, connect, strengthen their heritage, and contribute.
Celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, CYM remains committed to educating, uniting, and empowering the next generation.
Dignitas Ukraine’s Collaboration with CYM in Passaic, NJ
In November 2024, Dmytro Kavun, President of Dignitas Ukraine, visited CYM in Passaic, New Jersey, to spark curiosity and passion among young members with a powerful talk on drone technology’s impact in Ukraine’s defense.
His presentation wasn’t just informative — it was electrifying. The youth leaned in, captivated by how drones are reshaping modern warfare and, most importantly, saving lives in Ukraine.

But they didn’t stop at learning
Inspired and motivated, the young members of CYM’s Passaic branch USA sprang into action. They rallied together, raising several thousand dollars to buy tools and DIY drone kits.
Then came the hands-on challenge
About 30 young minds meticulously assembled and soldered five drones from kits provided by Dignitas Ukraine in partnership with GetFPV.

These drones became more than machines — they became symbols of solidarity and innovation. Children signed their creation, knowing it would make their way to Ukraine, playing a direct role in defending freedom.

This initiative showcases the rising role of young Ukrainians in cutting-edge technology. It also marks the first anniversary of the Folks FPV free course — a program that teaches anyone how to assemble drones.
How it works:
- Take the free Folks FPV course
- Build a drone from a GetFPV kit
- Send it to Dignitas Ukraine
- Directly support Ukraine 💛💙
