“This project is truly valuable—not only inspiring but also giving veterans the wings to rebuild their lives and adapt after service. It’s priceless!” says Oleksii, a graduate of the Flight to Recovery program.
Recently, three veteran groups completed their training in the Flight to Recovery program in Kyiv and Lviv. A total of 29 veterans successfully finished their training in civilian drone operations, earned certifications, and gained opportunities to grow in the modern technology sector.

The classroom was more than just a learning space—it became a safe place for veterans to connect and share experiences.
Among those who attended the graduation event in Kyiv were Lyuba Shipovich, head of the Dignitas Fund, and Ruslan Prykhodko, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs.

Both events had a warm and supportive atmosphere. Participants shared their experiences, while guest speakers introduced additional opportunities available to veterans today.
The Flight to Recovery program is not just about learning to solder or fly drones—it’s about providing veterans with comprehensive support as they explore new career paths.
In addition to core training, the program offers veterans access to applied psychology lectures, career counseling, and meetings with top defense technology manufacturers in Ukraine.

We are grateful to our partners for supporting this project and organizing extra sessions and lectures for veterans: TAF Drones, Vyriy Drones, 3Dtech.com.ua, RATEL | Ground Robotics, Lobby X, Center for Defender Leadership, Improv 4.5.0, Open Doors.
The Flight to Recovery team at Dignitas Fund congratulates and thanks all participants for their dedication to learning. We remain committed to supporting our defenders every step of the way!
