We’re proud to share that our Director of Development, Yulia OC Yulia O’Connell, actively participated in New York Tech Week – attending 4 out of the 1,600+ events taking place across New York City this week!

This vibrant, decentralized tech conference series, organized and presented by a16z, has grown tremendously over the past few years. Hundreds of independent organizers, VCs, startups, and communities come together to host panels, mixers, workshops, and networking sessions. The purpose is simple yet powerful: to spark genuine connections, share knowledge, and create meaningful collaborations within the tech ecosystem.

Standout events Yuliya attended on behalf of Dignitas Ukraine:

• Dual-Use Innovation Exchange at Morrison & Foerster LLP – hosted by Defense Entrepreneurs Forum and Campus Deep Tech. Excellent discussions on dual-use technologies with applications in defense, climate tech, deep tech, and beyond.

• Raising Capital in Today’s Tech Market – a candid conversation with VCs and family offices featuring speakers Michael Loeb (Founder & CEO, Loeb.nyc) and Nicole Enslein (Founder & CEO, Sublime Communications).

• TRUE CONFESSIONS: AI Hype & Fundraising – a refreshing, anonymous-format discussion cutting through the AI hype and its real impact on fundraising.

• Nonprofits at TechWeek happy hour hosted by Kairos and a productive Tech Networking Event at Fabrik NYC.

These events provided valuable insights, new connections, and fresh ideas that directly support our mission: advancing Ukraine’s defense innovation, technological sovereignty, and resilience through strong U.S.-Ukraine partnerships.
